12A Registration

12A Registration is granted under Section 12A of the Income Tax Act, 1961. With this registration, Non-Profit Organizations (NGOs), Trusts, and Societies can claim complete exemption from income tax on their surplus income, as long as the funds are used for charitable or religious purposes. It also enhances the credibility of the organization and is often a prerequisite for availing other benefits like 80G certification
